Thanks for sharing your perspective, Steve. Fabricating a "universal computer server" sounds a bit like the old notion of making graven images. What we understand the word 'authentic' to mean is key. I suspect it goes deeper than anything AI or human ingenuity can fabricate. Like you, i prefer what Henri Frank Frankfort called myth-poeic language in his formative book, 'Before Philosophy.'

Many highly educated people have given up on religion and its promises and consolidations. There is a growing club of young rich digital young men who are planning on immorality either by some scientific tricks or by "uploading consciousness" to some universal computer servers. I take a sardonic view of these naive rich young rulers of today. I prefer the ways of philosophy, poetry, myth, and religion.
